đŸ’¡ Since we are an open startup, Github is our main development platform, other than that we use linear to for weekly cycle, and synclinear by cal.com for two way sync.

- first a todo or issue is created on Github — we try to keep it clean by not adding so many future/draft issues.
- issues created on Github automatically comes to our linear triage and we keep it there until our next weekly call — where we discuss, prioritise what we gonna work on and add them to respective cycle as week 1, week 2…
- Issues goes from todo— In review, where a technical review is done by Sajda before merging to our satellite server ( Internal stagging server).
- Issues stays on ready to merge: satellite— where the feature or issues are used or tested internally.
if anything wrong, roll back same process.
- deploy to prod — marking the todo/issue as done on linear automatically closes on Github.
for urgent issues once an issue is created— a call is automatically placed to the assignee whether he is sleeping or sitting on a toilet chair, the phone rings until there is a PR.
kidding :p
Issues triaged as urgent are immediately assigned and it goes directly to march today page of the assignee.
that’s all for today.
